In accordance with existing legislation of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan, regu-latory legal acts and normative technical documentation on labour safety and industrial safety, JSC «Kazanorgsintez» carries out purposeful works on improvement of accident-free work system in JSC, arrangement of healthy and safe working conditions for employees, precaution of industrial injuries and professional diseases.With a view to improve the Company’s employees working conditions in 2009 by «Agreement on labour safety between management and trade union committee of JSC «Kazanorgsintez»” there were provision for 22 events. Actually, 21 events have been made to the amount of 39158,7 thousand rou-bles. Working conditions for 320 employees, including 59 women have been improved.
Labour safety costs in 2009 amounted to 314 356,94 thousand roubles (in 2008 – 237 257 thousand roubles), including charges for special meals, special cloths, acquisition of normative technical documentation on labour safety, preventive medical examination, labour safety training, events on labour contract and others.
In 2009, 655 employees of the Company were certified, had extraordinary competence assessment in the field of industrial safety and labour safety in JSC’s Attestation Commission.
The department carries out control over timely provision with special cloths, safe shoes and other in-dividual protective devices according to Typical Trade Standards. In 2009 there were no cases with interruption in special cloths and safe shoes provision.
All new employees in JSC attend compulsory medical examination in JSC medical center. Employ-ees, involved in harmful working conditions, have coupon for healthful and dietary meals and milk, as well as every year attend preventive medical examination.
In pursuance of the order of Health and Social Development Ministry of the Russian Federation No.569 dated 31.08.2007, the JSC’s Order-Resolution No.365 dated 24.07.97, the Company carries out work on assessment of workplaces with respect to labour conditions.
